SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) OF UNIVERSITAS HASANUDDIN
Course And Training
Sustainable Development Goals SDGs Center Universitas Hasanuddin. Our Sustainable Development Goals SDGs SDGs Centre was inaugurated directly by the Minister of National Development, Bambang Brojonegoro, on 12 February 2019.
We have committed to support the Indonesian government to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia. The rise of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a global framework is firmly in line with our university's mission as a hub in eastern Indonesia. We are keen to create innovative and practical solutions to the current societal and environmental problems by integrating the university's fundamental roles that are called Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi (Education, Research, and Community Development).
We hope that we will be able to map campus activities in line with the SDGs, including mainstreaming SDGs in our courses and Student Community Services. Furthermore, we will develop internal campus capacities and build a sense of ownership of the SDGs, identifying priorities, opportunities, and gaps in implementing the SDGs. The Minister of National Development has mandated us to ensure internalization of SDGs into university strategies, policies, and work plans can continue to run. Lastly, we also hope that SDGs Center UNHAS can take pivotal roles in developing a network with other SDGs Centers in the eastern Indonesia universities
